Cultivation Beds

Whether selecting seed varieties, planting, cultivating, or harvesting, we engage students of all ages in the care of all our Teaching Farms. With year-round programming and consistent, high-quality produce in mind, our farm staff and Instructors create crop plans focused on seasonal diversity, innovation, and soil health. These original Jones Valley Teaching Farm beds have been cultivated for 14 years and supply the bulk of our delicious produce for our Good School Food lessons and our community food distribution.
